• Push notification token — lets us send order and appointment alerts to your device when you opt in.
• Shopping cart — remembers items you have added while browsing a store.
• Preferences — remembers choices like language, display mode or dismissed notices so they persist across visits.
• Analytics data — basic, anonymous usage information that helps us understand which features matter most and fix problems.

Are these cookies?

We mostly use browser storage technologies such as localStorage and sessionStorage rather than traditional HTTP cookies. They serve the same purpose — recognizing your device and remembering your activity — and are covered by this policy.

First-party and third-party storage

• First-party — everything listed above is set by Saloneshop itself while you use our app or a merchant's Saloneshop storefront.
• Third-party — when you tap "Send on WhatsApp" or "Book on WhatsApp", you leave our site and WhatsApp's own terms and privacy/cookie policies apply. We do not place WhatsApp cookies ourselves.

How long do these last?

Session data is kept until you sign out or it expires for security. Preference and analytics data may remain longer until you clear your browser. Cart data is tied to the store you are browsing and is removed when you clear your browser storage.

Managing or deleting stored data

You can remove stored data at any time through your browser or device settings. Signing out of Saloneshop clears your authentication session. Note that clearing storage will sign you out and may reset preferences or empty your cart.

We may update this policy as features change. The date at the top of this page will always reflect the latest version.
